FOCUS GROUP SPAIN IIRC–AECA
The International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC) has launched the “Global call for feedback on business implementation of Integrated Reporting” to have a better understanding of the level of adoption and application of the Integrated Information. IIRC is organising ten Focus Group meetings with different stakeholders – experts in reporting (companies, investors, regulators, auditors, etc.), in the following countries: Australia, India, Italy, Japan, Holland, Malaysia, Singapore, Spain, UK and USA. AECA led the Focus Group Spain, which took place on March 30th at the Garrigues headquarters in Madrid.
Madrid, March 31, 2017.- The IIRC-International Integrated Reporting Council has launched a program on the degree of implementation of the Integrated Information that has been called Global call for feedback on business implementation of Integrated Reporting. This program includes the organization of ten Focus Group meetings in Australia, India, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Malaysia, Singapore, Spain, United Kingdom and the United States.
Given the role that AECA has been carrying out in the Integrated Reporting arena (is.aeca.es), the IIRC asked the Association to be the entity in charge of developing the Focus Group Spain meeting.
The meeting took place on March 30th at Garrigue’s headquarters, Madrid, with the aim of obtaining first-hand information from some of the major players responsible for the implementation of Integrated Information in different areas. Companies, regulators, supervisory entities, representatives of professional auditors, financial analysts and economists, in addition to AECA and the IIRC, were present at the meeting.
